Disappointed

The most memorable part was the fact that it was cancelled without our prior knowledge. We waited in a long line of traffic only to be told that the cemetary was closed to the public.

We apologize for the confusion. Due to COVID-19 we are closed for all tours until further notice, as noted on our website. We have been taking it month by month, as we, like the rest of the world, do not know when things will open up and be safe again. Once we closed off the month of December, we attempted to cancel and contact all guests that were already booked to notify of cancelation. I am sorry but it appears yours slipped through the cracks, which came to our attention after receiving a message about your tour. Once again, We apologize for this lack of communication due to an error on our part. Please note: as of right now, we are completely closed for business as no tours are legally allowed in Washington, DC nor in Arlington National Cemetery by law. The date you visited, the cemetery was in fact closed to the public to allow for family of those buried at Arlington to visit and place wreaths at their loved ones graves or memorials.

I would highly recommend the guided tour of Arlington National Cemetery. Just walking the paths on your own through the cemetery is a wonderful experience. The guided experience provides historical and human perspectives of our nation’s leaders and protectors that make your visit much more meaningful and informative. A shout out for our guide Liam! What a great way to learn more about our nation.

Sound advice, we do walk about 2.5 miles with a few hills, but we do try to keep our pace reasonable for all on our tour. Glad you enjoyed! Thanks for joining us.

Our tour guide, Liam, was excellent! Answered every question thrown his way. It’s hilly so wear good comfy shoes and it will be two of the best miles you’ll walk while in DC area.

If you’re going to tour the Arlington Cemetery, then this walking tour is the way to go. Our tour guide, Liam, did a wonderful job during our walk by pointing out where many important people were laid to rest along with the history that went with them. He also secured for us an amazing spot where we could see The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the changing of the guard. Thanks Liam for a very memorable experience!
