To mix the historical knowledge shared with a passionate guide, the quiet walking experience in old Quebec with the pleasure to discover several excellent restaurants at once, is really rewarding. Plus meeting new person and share that in a friendly atmosphere I crease the pleasure.

We took this walking food tour and was very impressed by Denis’ love for the city and its history. The food in each of the stops was top notch, and just enough over the course of the tour. Highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with the tour. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Marie, our guide was so very pleased and well informed. At the end of the tour, not only were our palates satisfied, but we felt as though we were saying farewell to an old friend.

We had our tour on Nov. 26th and Denise was our guide. He was prompt, on schedule, and was the perfect ambassador for Quebec City. Each restaurant we stopped at was better than our expectations and delicious. We are hooked. It is likely we will return in future and will definitely book this tour again and not waste time searching other food tours. We hope Denise would be the guide once again.

My wife and I have traveled extensively & taken many side tours during our 50 years of marriage. However, the food tour of Old Quebec City was probably our "best ever". Our guide, Gabriella, was superb. It took us a little while to find one another because of the crowds, but eventually Gabriella was able to bring the 8 of us together. She kept us on schedule to visit a variety of places. First for hors D'oeuvres and a nice glass of wine. Next to an old factory converted to a hotel where we sampled a typical charcuterie platter of prepared meats, fresh bread and a variety of cheeses with both red & white wines. Later, on our 3rd stop, the piece de resistance, we were surprised to visit a restaurant called Le Continental, an exquisite place where we were treated to one of the "best ever" meals. Shrimp sauteed in a lobster bisque sauce with several other ingredients; alcohol was added, flambeed to perfection at the table & accompanied by a very light, crisp Pinot Grigio. Next to another popular restaurant for a dinner of wonderfully cooked Beef Bourguignon, mashed garlic potatoes and green beans. More excellent wine and still more. Finally, Café La Maison Smith St-Jean, known for great coffees, croissants and a wide variety of the local cookie specialty, MACAROONS. A perfect ending to a tour we will long remember. Don't miss it and make sure you ask for Gabriella as your guide.

Marie was absolutely fantastic! Totally amazing and the food, restaurants, wine tasting and history of Quebec City we will never forget! We also loved all the people who were with us. Felt like friends by the end of the tour. Marie is phenomenal! The love of her city is contagious! We will be back
