it was a nice experience as the tour guide was knowledgeable of the information while on the walk. He made the experience worth coming back the next time I visit PHX. I enjoyed the hike and felt accomplished when I was able to look back up and look back at the accomplishment. I felt that I was able to see the city for what it is the depth that the mountain was.

Our guide, Matt, made our hike an amazing experience! He has an extensive knowledge of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve including plant and animal life. He was genuinely enthusiastic in conversation with my son and I throughout the trip. He provided healthy snacks, drinks and cooling cloths. This was one incredibly memorable experience with my college aged son that I will cherish forever. I highly recommend this sunset hike to anyone!!

My adult son and I had an AMAZING sunset hike with guide Matt. He was so knowledgeable with pointing out various things along the way. He was patient and engaged throughout the entire hike. The views were stunning and the hike itself was very manageable. This adventure is highly recommended and a must-see thing to do when visiting Phoenix.

Great sunset hike! This was our second time hiking with Matt, the first time as a couple and this time with our two children. He did a great job keeping our kids engaged and sharing information about the area, geology and plants that we would not have known about otherwise. Highly recommend!

I did this hike on my last night in Phoenix and I am so glad that I did. It was wonderful. Ryan our guide was fantastic. Such a pleasant person. There were two other couples and myself on the hike lead by Ryan. One thing to note is when you do this hike as a solo person its costs $195 not $125 as it is PP when you are booking for more than one. This is clear when you are booking. I just wondered why it was so much more when there were other people also on the hike. I still think it was worth it. And I would recommend this activity. My hiking abilities are moderate. (Remember to bring cash so you can tip your guide)
