Traveler Tips

  • "Make sure you bring cash for the required 'tips' to the staff." See review
  • "Have a great time but would not choose the mid day time slot as way too many people (100) at once and you do not get the light rays on camera unless you have a good camera" See review
  • "Simply amazing - some stairs/ladders to climb up/down - the middle of the day is best as the sun is in the right spot - just spectacular" See review

Mandatory Masks

The canyon is stunning. What ruins it is wearing a mask OUTSIDE the whole time. The air in the canyon gets warm and stale and the masks make breathing more difficult. It was also very difficult to hear and understand our tour guide.

Our tour guide was fantastic, we all decided to come back and do the upper canyon tour. You won't regret going on this tour.
Beautiful experience

This place is amazing. The lights, shadows, the curves made us, once again, appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature. The tour is nice. Navajo nation still follows mask mandates, so mask all the way. Our guide was very friendly. He shared his stories. He let us enjoy the views, but jumps up at places where he asked for our phones to take pictures of certain angles which were breathtaking. However, one star off is because of the pricing. Booking via Viator is expensive compared to booking directly from the provider.
Great tour and great guide.

It was absolutely amazing and beautiful. I first I thought an hour wouldn’t be enough time but our guide Jerry made sure we saw it all in that time. He pointed out all the interesting stuff, took pictures for us and even showed me a few things on my IPhone so I could get great pictures. I would highly recommend this tour.

Viewing the natural canyon formations was awesome. Wearing a mask in the Arizona heat was very uncomfortable and totally unnecessary, diminishing the entire experience.
Gum Gum Awesome!

It sounds like a very short tour for the money, but it is absolutely worth it. The guide shows excellent spots and has much information at hand. The experience is mind bogglingly beautiful!
Most helpful and courteous agent
, Jul 2022
We contacted Viator to get tickets for Lower Antelope Canyon. The agent, Maria Angela was most helpful and courteous. She worked with us to get a confirmed ticket. We had some concerns about the confirmation process but she cleared our doubts right then and there. Also, we had an excellent guide, Mr. Preston Stanley for out tour. He made our tour informative and fun. He provided a lot of information about his culture and answered all our question. We will definitely recommend Viator in future.
Amazing small-group tour through a real natural beauty.
, Jul 2022
From Zion, we drove to Page, AZ and it was well worth the stop to see Lower Antelope Canyon. We’d seen several photos of the colorful sandstone canyon, but to actually go into it’s depths was nothing short of amazing. Our Navajo guide Josh was excellent and snapped photos of those in our small group along the way.

Go to the first group to walk down the canyon! If possible, looking for the guide named yellow man! He is so amazing to take photos for my family and explain the formation of rocks! Every penny worth and hope to come back again!
