Even to the normal price,...

Even to the normal price, we were not impressed by this experience. We have visited several National Park. Antelope X was the less impressive. We are also wondering why we paid a price of more than $ 142 over Viator, since the normal price would have been $ 100 if we had booked directly.

Most travelers love this experience, and we are sorry that you did not. Advance prepurchase tickets to have fees to guarantee time slots and dates.

Its like walking in a work of art. The guide was very informative and took great pictures for us, like a pro. We hated having to wear mask but nobody took it serious anyway. The infrastructure is very raw, not for those who likes conforts.

Our tour guide was Josh who was very funny! The entire experience was so breath taking and serene! By far one of the best things I’ve experienced in Arizona. We will definitely be back again soon!

A maddening, slowly-moving selfie venue
John_T

I hate to give bad reviews and spent a couple of days considering what to say about our Canyon X tour. We were significantly disappointed. Our tour guide was very nice and quite knowledgeable. However, the tour itself was maddening. We thought we were going to explore a fascinating canyon and soak up info on the place. What we were subjected to, in actuality, was just a selfie venue for our fellow tourists. In the two hours that we were on site, probably 10 minutes of that time were spent actually exploring and moving and learning. The rest of that time was spent watching people take pictures of themselves and each other. No one in our group seemed interested in the place, but seemed obsessed with photographing themselves. This included large family groups and pouting, wanna-be Instagram models. We just basically stood in a slowly moving group and waited on people as they took picture after picture--not of the canyon; of themselves. We crept along SLOWLY. And, sadly, this whole frustrating selfie ordeal was fostered and encouraged by our tour guide (probably at the direction of the operator). The wife and I had no idea what we were in for. Had we known, we'd have walked out of there and not looked back. Here is what I suspect is going on. Canyon X is a small place and they book a lot of time to see it. You don't need all this time to cover such a tiny place; there is much time to kill. Thus, it creeps at a snail's pace while tour guides encourage non-stop, maddening photography sessions at every few paces. Posing, clicking, posing, clicking, clicking, posing, clicking, on and on. If you dislike moving and exploring interesting slot canyons, but do like being pressed into a group of narcissistic strangers that are being enthusiastically encouraged to take thousands of photos (no exaggeration) of themselves and their friends, this might be right up your alley. Admittedly, I haven't taken the Antelope Canyon tours and they may be exactly the same way. Beats me. But, if this doesn't sound like much fun, I would encourage you to avoid this tour. The operator can fix this experience and I hope they do so.

The Canyon X tour was amazing. Truly amazing. Our tour guide was great and made sure to give us plenty of time.for pictures. The hike to the canyon wasn't super difficult with stairs built in and grips in the sandy area. We did it with our 5 and 8 year olds and they enjoyed it as well. Great experience and 100% worth the cost.

We went into the caves and saw beautiful rock formations. The whole canyon is very picturesque and amazing to experience. It does get hot though, so make sure to bring water! There are also a few plants and animals to see there, and the walk down is not very far.

Very stressful beginning, our tickets bought through viator weren’t submitted for the right day, even though I received confirmation email and text with the right day. Thanks to the mercy of the receptionist at the canyon site they allowed us to get in. The Canyon is amazing!

It was an awesome tour. We had a good guide. At the end when we reached the top from the canyon being from Tennessee not use to elevation or dryness I was very winded and a guide named LEO offer led to give me a ride to the car park. I greatly appreciated it. THANK YOU LEO!!!!

It was an awesome experience! Tara was our tour guide and she did a great job. I was amazed when she demonstrated how the canyon started with the elements of wind, sand and water. If only we’re allowed to take a video. Otherwise, it is still a great experience. Not a very crowded tour, everything was organized.
