My guided walk along the High Line far exceeded my expectations. My amazing guide, Debbie Mason, was on time, highly knowledgeable, and warm and friendly. She patiently answered all my questions, showed me many historic photos, discussed the historic development and evolution of the meatpacking district, and briefed me on how the High Line project came to be, among many other things. Be sure to ask for her if you want a guided tour of the High Line or any other walking tour of New York.

I am so pleased I took a guided tour of the High Line. Debbie was a wealth of knowledge and her friendly and informative commentary meant that we learned so much about what we were looking at. I see why the tour commenced at 8am, it gets busy up there, but at this ttime of the morning, we had time to pause and enjoy the route without the crowds. The tour started in Chelsea market and the meat packing district, before we walked the whole of the High Line. Debbie was able to show us photos of the interiors of some of the newly constructed buildings - we now know what $8 million buys you! We had a throughly enjoyable morning with Debbie, who ended the tour with tickets for The Vessel at Hudson's Yard, a real bonus. I highly recommend this tour.

A remarkable tour! Rich in history, geography, art and architecture. Not just the High Line, but the surrounding neighborhoods and skyline. Carefully researched, but communicated in a conversational and informal style. It was like having a close friend 'show you around'. Highly recommended. A memorable experience!

What an amazing trip this was! We were so lucky to have Debbie. She was brilliant and so informative. The experience started off the day before when we recived an email to confirm our booking and to warn us to wrap up warm as it was expected to be a chilly day the next day. Debbie was waiting for us when we arrived with a huge smile and gave us such a warm welcome. We started of with a thorough tour of Chelsea Market first and then went straight on to the amazing High Line. Debbie had so much knowledge and information about the whole tour and took some amazing photos of us. You could tell she was very passionate about the High Line with all the information we were given and we are so pleased we booked it as a tour. We were lucky to be the only 2 on this tour and even though it was for 2 hours out trip lasted at least 3 hours! At the end Debbie asked where we were going to next and as she was free she accompanied us on our next stop to the Empire State Building where we had a private tour from her. Someone was looking over us that day. The whole experience was amazing and it was made extra special by having Debbie.
