Stunted by the insane New York traffic

Nice tour but killed dead in the tracks by the insane NYC traffic. The commentary doesn't even sync up with the tour - buildings being described in the headphones have either long passed or are in the distance. I don't blame the tour operators for this - but the traffic. The driver did fairly well to navigate the reckless pedestrians who seemed intent on stepping out onto the road while the traffic signals said DON't WALK. Wasn't jaywalking an offence long ago? I'd rather make this tour by foot in the future. I can walk faster than that bus caan navigate the mind-numbing traffic.

A good experience despite the rain

We had been to NYC numerous times, but wanted to give my family a nice overview. This bus tour really worked well for us. The main stop is pretty close to our hotel and there were plenty of seats available when we boarded. We planned to take the full loop one time and then get off at stops the second time around, as time permits. The Manhattan traffic is bad, but the driver did a good job getting us around safely. Unfortunately, after about an hour it started raining pretty hard. The driver pulled over to the curb and then came upstairs and gave each of us a plastic poncho. That was quite welcome and enabled us to stay on the upper level. Quite a few people chose to go downstairs for the duration. Open umbrellas aren't allowed for safety reasons, so it was nice to have the ponchos provided.

Many bus! Good option to see NY ! Cruise liberty too long and only in English. Traffic in Manhattan.
