Seeing the humpback whales heading right toward the boat and swimming under the boat. Loved seeing the large group of sea lions, including their youngsters going out fishing together. Seeing the 2 blue whales in the distance...& their out breath...even from a distance you could tell how large they are.

Great trip although the sea was quite bumpy and people (inclusing myself) got seasick. Lots of humpback whales and a group of Risso's dolphins. At least 2 black-footed (see pricture) and 1 short-tailed albatros were hanging around. A huge blow at quite some distance might have been a blue whale (the official Monterey sightings mentioned that at least 2 of those animals have been seen that day).
