  • Hot air balloon flight over the Pahrump region
  • Flight certificate and Champagne toast upon landing
  • Unobstructed bird's-eye views of the desert and mountains
  • Balloon flies over the Pahrump Valley, not the Las Vegas Strip

Why Travelers Choose This Tour

You should book your balloon ride on day one or two of your Vegas trip as this tour is dependent on weather. Booking early in your trip gives you maximum flexibility if your tour needs to be rescheduled, then you won't miss out on this amazing trip!
Enjoy pickup at select hotels on the Las Vegas Strip (additional cost) or make your own way to the departure point for the approximate 45-minute drive to the Pahrump launch location.

Upon arrival in Pahrump, listen to a short safety briefing from your pilot and guide, then climb into the basket and set off. Soar over Pahrump’s residential areas and the Pahrump Valley; and enjoy unobstructed views of the desert landscapes and mountains.

After the flight, your pilot guides the balloon toward earth. On touchdown, enjoy a Champagne toast and receive a flight certificate.

Following this, return to Las Vegas for drop-off.

Bonus: During the winter months, you are able to choose between a sunrise or sunset departure.

We had a great time. I gave 4/5 stars due to the long ride to and from launching site, but other than that, the experience was great.

Daniel was our pilot and our guide. He gave us amazing information about the what we were seeing and the balloon itself. He took us 13,000 ft (no this is not a typo) up! The landing was fun and we enjoyed sipping our champagne while learning the history of the famous toast.

The whole crew at Vegas balloon rides was great but Jeff aka Jean Francois made it a truly memorable experience for my girlfriend and myself with his stories and history about ballooning as well his humor. Thank you for the experience.

Poor scheduling

Had to reschedule the first ride because of too high winds. The second time we showed up at 3:30 AM as requested and the crew didn't show up at the shop till 4:15. We took an 1hr ride to Phurump and were told it was too windy this could all been avoided if the pilot would have checked with the local airport. Before we made it to Phurump they were saying we may not fly today. Then had to make the 1hr trip back then they wanted us to reschedule.

Hi there! All of our crew always show up at 3:30 AM and we have not had any recent instances where this was not the case. By 4:15 we are usually halfway to Pahrump. We make sure that we are in a position to be completely inflated before sunrise so that we can take off right at the legal sunrise. All of our information, including meeting location, launch site, and travel time are available on our website. If the crew was discussing not being able to fly before heading to Pahrump, it was probably based on what flags or other indicators were doing, which can't serve as true weather predictors. Unfortunately, the airport in Pahrump is a private airfield and does not provide current weather, and there are no weather stations in the town. We gather as much weather data as possible before the flight, but sometimes this information is not consistent with what is happening at the launch site. Safety is our number one priority, and we never want our pilots to fly if they think it will be unsafe. We understand how disappointing it is not being able to fly, but safety is our most important consideration and weather plays a large part of that. Mother Nature can be unpredictable, which is why we always offer to reschedule customers whose flights are cancelled due to weather! Although we are just as disappointed as you that we were unable to fly that morning, we believe we made the decision that would keep our pilots, crew, and customers the safest.
