Sail Tahoe Blue is the premier sailing charter in South Lake Tahoe. We offer a unique sailing adventure and include complementary local beer and wine, as well as non-alcoholic beverages on all of our daily cruises.
Unlike other tour boats which take 50+ passengers, our sailing yacht, "Blue", limits our capacity to 18 passengers. If you care to enjoy the beauty of propulsion by Mother Nature without the sound and smell of an engine, come sail with us!

- PLEASE READ: Due to the drought, we are now shuttling guests to and from the dock to our sailboat, as our vessel depth does not always allow us to reach the dock. Because this process requires guests to step from one boat to another and can be challenging, please DO NOT book this tour if you are not able bodied. While we wish we could bring every person out sailing, we are advising against booking with us this season for those who are not able to load onto the boat on their own. Thank you for your understanding.

Sailing with Sail Tahoe Blue was the highlight of our trip to Tahoe. The boat was beautiful and comfortable but the staff exceeded all expectations. They were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and went over and above to make our experience memorable. We did the evening cruise and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tahoe. Such a beautiful way to see the lake.

Me and my wife had a amazing time. The captain and his help were tremendous and did a great job making sure we had a great experience. We had some weather that day which brought on a 50 knot wind that made the experience a memorable one to say the least. Will definitely book again when we go back next year.

Awesome ride. It was like a private boat sailing. We were around 15 people from different parts of the World. Drinks were complimentary and had lovely memorable time. Must do. Highly recommended

Very relaxing cruise. Not real exciting… but that is good when sailing. Plenty of room. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this excursion.

If you wish to have a more exciting trip with us next time, please check the wind forecast beforehand or ask our staff and we will be happy to select a day/time that will offer that type of sailing experience.

We sailed on the 2:30 excursion, was perfect. The wind typically picks up in the afternoon and dies down at sunset. We had a lot of wind and were able to use both sails. Did get a little wet from splashes but only when we were standing in the bow. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Excellent way to get out on the lake. Do it you'll be glad you did.

The entire experience was great, down from being greeted to exiting the vessel. Blue was a beautiful boat, and The gentlemen were awesome and extremely knowledgeable. Local beers were a cherry on top to an already amazing experience. Wish it was longer than 2 hours!

Had a blast! Four of us in our party, and we all agreed it was the highlight of our trip. Sean (captain) and Jack (deckhand) were courteous, charming, funny, and very knowledgeable about sailing generally and about Lake Tahoe and the surrounding area and attractions. Wish we lived closer so we could do it more often! And next time we're in the area we will definitely book again!
