We weren't able to board the train. My autistic grandson had a bad episode before getting on. I have asked for a refund since I had spoke with someone when booking and explained that this might happen.

Very pleasant ride. The staff was excellent. The entertainment going up and back was very good. Tina, our car hostess, was exceptional. The bus tour and lunch also very good!

Very disappointing

Disappointed with our experience. Speakers, at the performance before boarding the train, were not working well, therefore we couldn't hear what was being said. Buffet lunch was cafeteria food at best. The bus tour was a joke. We spent more time boarding than we did seeing the canyon. Actual time spent viewing the canyon was 15-20 minutes total! No time to visit the sites. We spent over $300 for 2 people to experience the canyon for the first time and only got to view for less than 30 minutes! We had to drive over an hour the next day so that we could return and see the canyon and the sites.

Not sure where to start. There was absolutely nothing good about this experience. Staff was short-tempered and only “friendly” when they came around looking for tips. I resent paying that much money and being shaken down for tips. The entertainment was hokey and poorly done. I am so sorry that was our experience of the Grand Canyon.

Great Experience on 1901 Historical Railroad. Loved our train car host "Amber Rose"... caring, funny, informational! Two fantastic musicians strolled the train singing for us. Train Robbery was a hoot. Bus driver drove us to two places on Rim was very informative & funny. Resturant buffet was bland cafeteria food, just ok. I suggest finding eating lunch your own.

Our trip on the Grand Canyon Railway was great! The train ride was relaxing. our conductor was funny, knowledgeable and added a lot to the trip. From the train we boarded a bus that took us to lunch then to the lookout points where we were in awe of the Canyon. We didn't have to figure out the red or blue routes for hiking to the lookouts. And the driver had a lot of geological and historical information to share.

My wife and I visited Williams, AZ for a short trip after our daughter got married for a get a way. We enjoyed the great hospitality of the people on the train and at the hotel. It was a nice trip.
