Grand Canyon Visitor Center

450 Arizona 64, Tusayan, AZ

The Basics

Between the visitor center’s IMAX Theater experience and its many interactive exhibits, you could spend all day at the Grand Canyon without ever leaving the visitor center. But, when you are ready to explore the canyon itself, take advantage of the resources at the National Geographic Visitor Center to plan a self-guided trip or join a guided tour of the canyon.

You can opt for a Jeep tour that starts out with an IMAX movie before heading to the East Rim of the canyon. Or, if you are visiting the canyon from Las Vegas, book a bus tour that includes a stop at the National Geographic Visitor Center and the chance to watch the IMAX movie before you enter the park.

FANTASTIC FILM! Most visitors have no idea of the enormity of the Grand Canyon. In this film you can have a glimpse, a sliver o nature how the water work of the rock for ten thousand centuries.

3-Day National Parks Tour from Las Vegas: Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon
So glad we opted to tour more than the Grand Canyon. Zion and Bryce offered grandiose views from other perspectives. The motels were clean and friendly. The food stops were sometimes disappointing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

3-Day National Parks Tour from Las Vegas: Grand Canyon, Zion and Bryce Canyon
We only had a few days to visit the 3 National Parks and this tour was excellent. Our guide Emanuele Mengotti was excellent. Very knowledgeable, great sense of humor and very clear directions. Our driver Gregg was also excellent and both gentlemen made this trip a great experience. We did stay in modest accommodations but they were very clean and comfortable. We have taken a number of Viator tours and one is better then the next, if possible! Highly recommend them.
